Set Animated Wallpapers as Your Windows Desktop Background with DreamScene

Here's an awesome trick for you guys. Let's learn how to set animated wallpapers as your Windows 7 background. This may work in Windows Vista as well. You better give it a try and leave us a comment below this post. ;) Okay, Let's get started.

First of all you need to install a small application called DreamScene. Click here to download it. It's just a 1.75 MB file. Once downloaded install it.

Open DreamScene and click the Install DreamScene button as in the screenshot below.

After Installation go to their DreamScene gallery to download some animated wallpapers. You can create your own wallpapers by creating a video in WMA or MPEG format.

You can find some more animated wallpapers at Dreamscene.org. Some of their wallpapers cannot be downloaded directly from their website due to some errors. So, you can go to their YouTube channel and download the videos from there. But remember to covert the video to WMA or MPEG format using a video converter (ex: Any Video Converter).

Once you have the wallpaper you like, right click on that video file you downloaded or created and select "Set as Desktop Background" from the context menu. And your animated wallpaper (video) will be played on your desktop background. You can always set a normal image as your desktop background to disable this animated background.
